Alia Bhatt’s lipstick remark caused Ranbir Kapoor to receive backlash; the actress addresses toxicity and criticism

Alia Bhatt recently used Instagram to host an AMA session with her fans. She is currently celebrating the release of her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone.

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor received criticism from online users after Alia Bhatt revealed that he used to ask her to remove her lipstick while they were dating. They referred to the actor as ‘toxic and controlling’. A few hours later, Alia Bhatt conducted an “ask me anything” session on Instagram and responded to several inquiries.

When a social media user asked her “what’s a great way to deal with toxicity and criticism?” The actress replied, “Words that are meant to hurt you can only hurt if you let them… Constructive criticism is the best way to grow. No one who is not with you can take you… Live a life so infused with gratitude and love that toxicity could not even REACH you.

In response to a question from a fan about the “best thing about Ranbir Kapoor.” Alia shared a picture of herself and her husband and wrote, “He’s my happy place because I can be my truest most authentic self with him.”

When different fan questioned Alia about how she was always so upbeat, she replied, “Why not? I certainly do experience bad days. however, I decide to smile like the sun does every day and be grateful for life.

Recently Alia Bhatt is seen in a video from Vogue India discussing unusual beauty tips. She uses the same soft shade of pink that she wore to her wedding in the video. The actress prefers to swipe her lip over the lipstick rather than apply it with her hand. The lipstick is then subtly removed by Alia to give it a more natural appearance. Alia explains the reason, “Because one thing my husband…when he wasn’t my husband but when he was my boyfriend as well… he would be like “Wipe that off, wipe that off” because he loves the natural color of my lips.”

On July 18, morning, Kangana Ranaut posted a series of indirect jabs at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on her Instagram Stories. The Panga actress claimed in her posts that Ranbir wed Alia “under the pressure of mafia daddy,” who promised him a trilogy of films. It is easy to deduce that she is referring to Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra film trilogy and Karan Johar as the “mafia daddy.”

Kangana posted on Instagram, saying, “In another news a farzi (fake) husband wife jodi (couple) who live on separate floors and pretend to be a couple are spreading fake news about movie announcements which aren’t being made also calling a brand owned by Myntra their own … besides no one wrote about how wife and daughter was snubbed from a recent family trip, while so-called husband was texting me begging and pleading to meet him ….This farzi jodi needs to be exposed….”

Recently, Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot appeared in Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone. Prior to that, she starred in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar, and was widely praised for her performance.
